Introduction

International conference on synthesis chemistry 2022 (ICoSC 2022) is organized by the School of Chemistry and Environment, Faculty of Applied Sciences, Universiti Teknologi MARA, Malaysia.

The conference provides an international showcase during this pandemic time for the area of synthesis chemistry. The conference will mainly focus on key topics in contemporary organic synthesis that includes total synthesis and the exiting methodologies and strategies that continue to emerge. The conference also covers polymer synthesis, synthesis in medicinal chemistry and natural products, inorganic, organometallic, catalysis and material synthesis which are of relevance to both academic and industrial chemists alike. This is reflected in the topics that will be discussed in the plenary lectures. The committee is keen to encourage and enable as many people as possible to attend this event, to benefit from the networking opportunities and the chance to hear talks from experts in the field.
